Today is the Day

Friday, September 12, 2008, will be the launch of the “Today is the Day” campaign to encourage everyone in the community to start talking to children and teens about the dangers of drugs. Volunteers are needed that morning from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m. to display hand-held signs throughout the community to signal the beginning of this campaign, which is coordinated by the Allegany County Coalition for a Drug-Free Community. Last year, many WMHS employees served as volunteers and site leaders. If you would like to participate this year, the volunteer form is available HERE and should be submitted by August 29, 2008. For more information, please contact Joy Reckley, Director of Service Excellence, at 5189.
