WMHS Auxiliary Installs New Officers

The Western Maryland Health System Auxiliary recently installed new officers for their 2007-2009 term, with Louise Brelsford being elected as President. The installation was the focal point of the Auxiliary's annual spring membership dinner held at the Cumberland Country Club, which also featured a style show by Pharmacare's Tallulah New York handbag line. Special guests at the dinner included Chuck Barrick and Matthew Ackerman, who were both awarded Auxiliary sponsored scholarships in the fall of 2006. Outgoing Auxiliary President, Janice Hare, was recognized and applauded at the event for the exemplary service and leadership she provided during her two year term as the first elected President of the newly formed WMHS Auxiliary. During Ms. Hare's tenure, the Auxiliary pledged a total of $1 million to the WMHS Capital Campaign, aggressively launching their efforts to reach this goal through the work of the gift shops, Snow Ball, as well as other Auxiliary sponsored events and activities.
