WMHS D2B Team Collaborates to Improve Door-To-Balloon Times

July 07, 2008 - WMHS recently announced the progress in reducing door-to-balloon (D2B) times to less than 90 minutes, which have a significant positive impact on patient outcomes and mortality. Sponsored by the American College of Cardiology, WMHS joined the national initiative in March 2007. It is a complex challenge that requires the coordination of EMTs, Emergency Department staff, Cardiologists, and other team members.
