Building Better Caregivers
June 12 – July 24 from 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
It will be held in the Willowbrook Office Complex conference room and the coaches will be running in person and virtual event at the same time via Teams. (Note: This is a start to finish program, so participants can’t just attend one class and not the others.)

This interactive workshop is designed for people who are family caregivers of people with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), dementia such as Alzheimer’s, and any other conditions that affect memory.
This workshop covers topics including:
- Caregiver stress and emotions
- Care partner difficult behaviors
- Asking for help
- Making decisions about treatment, housing, etc.
- Communicating effectively with family, friends, and health professionals
- Legal issues related to caregiving
- Action planning and problem-solving
