New Support Group Formed
Caring Family and Friends, a support group for family and friends of individuals struggling with addiction, now meets the third Wednesday of every month at 5:30 p.m. in the auditorium at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.
This free support group is open to anyone in the area who feels powerless and alone because someone they care about has a drug or alcohol addiction. The group provides encouragement and support for those dealing with a loved one’s addiction. Eileen Peterman, LGPC, an addictions counselor and psychotherapist at UPMC Western Maryland, is the facilitator.
