UPMC Western Maryland Center for Breast Care in Cumberland, Maryland, has been granted a three-year/Full accreditation designation by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), a program administered by the American College of Surgeons. UPMC Western Maryland Accredited as Lung Cancer Screening Center
UPMC Western Maryland recently earned the three-year confirmation of being a Designated Lung Screening Center by the American College of Radiology. The ACR examined the protocols, techniques, and radiation dose that is used for Low Dose Lung Cancer Screening exams. The ACR determined UPMC Western Maryland meets the highest standards of quality and safety for CT imaging services.
