Our online patient portals allow you to conveniently access your medical records in the privacy of your own home. Two patient portals include: UPMC Western Maryland and UPMC Western Maryland Clinics and Physician Practices.

Accessing your medical records is easy. You can request an “Authorization” from your nurse during During your stay at UPMC Western Maryland or simply download the form online and follow the instructions for access.

No Surprises Act
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate: explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

Pain Management
UPMC Western Maryland is committed to a proactive approach to pain management through appropriate assessment and interventions based on your report of pain.
