When you take anticoagulation medications (such as Coumadin) to slow down the blood-clotting process, it requires careful monitoring to make sure the dose is right. Some of the ways our team can help you if you take this medication include:

  • Educating you about the medication
  • Reviewing your other current medications for possible interactions
  • Monitoring blood tests to measure the blood’s clotting ability
  • Adjusting the dose when necessary
