I’m Dr. Emme Jackson, the plastic surgeon for Western Maryland Health System in Cumberland, Maryland.
If you’re considering plastic or reconstructive surgery or non-invasive cosmetic procedures, I’d like to help you make an informed decision about your next steps.
First, you should know that my journey to becoming a plastic surgeon was very personal. You see I had reconstructive surgery as a medical student at West Virginia University. The compassion of my surgeon and the life-changing outcome inspired me to pursue a specialty in plastic and reconstructive surgery, so I know a little about how you feel right now.
At Western Maryland Health System Plastic Surgery, we offer reconstructive and cosmetic surgery, from tummy tucks and liposuction to facelifts and breast augmentations.
Sometimes surgery is not necessary and you might be a good candidate for our non-invasive alternatives, like chemical peels, Botox or Juvederm.
I have a special interest in breast cancer reconstruction and perform skin cancer treatments as well. A majority of reconstructive surgeries are covered by insurance and we are contracted with most insurance carriers. Call us to verify we are in-network with your plan.
Next, there are three things I would like you to remember: One: your safety and confidentiality are important to me.
I perform most surgeries at Western Maryland Health System, an accredited regional medical center.
I have invested years of training and take your care seriously. My staff and I will guide you from your initial consultation through your post-operative recovery period.
Second: like you, I am looking for natural, rewarding results.
Plastic surgery requires artistic skills and a vision of your surgical outcome. We’ll talk about your needs and goals as long as it takes for you to be comfortable.
And third, my goal is education and support.
I hope you’ll schedule a friendly, no no-obligation consultation with me . . . and ask lots of questions. When you leave your consultation, I want you to feel well informed and have the resources and options you need to make the right decision.
This is plastic surgery with a woman’s touch, a personal touch . . . so you feel confident and comfortable taking the next step.
